A Heartfelt Reflection on HARA and HANAH International Academy When it comes to language learning, HARA and HANAH International Academy proudly holds the top spot in our hearts. Though Leon is naturally introverted, his kindergarten teachers unveiled a wonderland beyond his heart—one filled with curiosity, joy, and trust. As parents, we often care deeply about the small yet important things—the environment, hygiene, and daily convenience. The HANA team, especially the manager aspect, went above and beyond to accommodate our concerns. Whether it was coordinating logistics, helping settle daily routines, or simply offering a warm smile, all of them were the invisible thread that kept everything running smoothly. I am especially grateful to Mia, who seemed to be everywhere at once, always ready to lend a helping hand with grace and efficiency. At HANA, most of our requests were handled with care and flexibility, always striving for the best possible outcome. It wasn’t just about fulfilling duties—it was about heart. Their responsiveness gave us confidence and comfort. From a student’s perspective, some children may have needed time to adjust in the beginning—but remarkably, many of them ended up not wanting to leave. The school demonstrated an impressive ability to adapt to every situation. For example, during the rainy season, they thoughtfully moved the badminton program indoors to a rented gym—making sure both fun and safety were never compromised. Even subtle emotional needs were noticed and attended to, which made a profound difference in how the children bonded with school life. Our initial reason for choosing HANA was its commitment to the Montessori education system. However, what we discovered went far beyond that. HANA not only offers a Montessori-based curriculum but also fosters a strong momentum for learning through thoughtful engagement. Their efforts to blend fun and education have been nothing short of remarkable. The classrooms were always alive with meaningful activity, where learning felt like play and play felt like purpose. We’ll never forget Leon’s reaction on his very first Friday—he felt sad simply because there wouldn’t be school the next day. That’s how deeply he had already come to love Teacher, Doctor, Teacher, Angel, and of course, Teacher Hanah. At HARA and HANAH Academy, children thrive in a wide variety of environments. There’s no forced method to language acquisition; instead, everything flows naturally and authentically. This summer has undoubtedly become a treasured chapter in Leon’s life—one that he will carry forward with warmth and pride.
