My Learning Experience at HANA ACADEMY in the Philippines Studying at HANA ACADEMY in the Philippines has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. The school provides a comfortable and effective environment for learning English, and I’ve seen real improvements in both my speaking and listening skills during my time here. One of the greatest strengths of HANA ACADEMY is its excellent teaching staff. The teachers are all incredibly friendly and approachable, making it easy to feel comfortable and motivated in class. In addition to English study, we also share different culture of our own country. One of my group classes is a native English-speaking teacher, an interesting person. He conducts lessons with professionalism and enthusiasm, and makes sure every student gets plenty of speaking practice. The Philippine teachers are also highly skilled and passionate about teaching. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they almost have no accents, so it was easy for me to understand, and they made every effort to help students understand even the most challenging vocabulary. Another helpful feature of the school is the presence of managers from different countries for example Korea, Taiwan, China, Japan and Saudi Arabia who are always ready to assist students with any needs that may arise, whether it's arranging classes, handling life stuff, or simply giving advice about local life. Their support made settling into life in the Philippines much easier and more comfortable. HANA ACADEMY is also a great choice for families. It offers a Montessori-style kindergarten that is very child-friendly. The teachers lead the children in exploring the school environment, planting small gardens, and even taking care of a cute little white rabbit, which quickly became a favorite among the kids. So do I. After meals, I walked around in HANA ACADEMY and the rabbit would “jump” with me. When backing to Taiwan I will miss it. It’s a warm and caring environment where children can learn and play safely while their parents attend classes. The school also encourages a balanced lifestyle by providing recreational facilities such as a swimming pool and a table tennis table. These are great for relaxing and exercising during free time and help students maintain a healthy body and mind. These also provide some entertainment for enhancing parent-child relationship. Meals at the school are mainly Korean-style. Though simple, they are nutritious and well-balanced. The school also provides fruit three times a week, which adds variety and freshness to the meals. Accommodation at HANA ACADEMY is simple but comfortable. The dormitory rooms are cleaned twice a week, and students can have two laundry services per week. The cleaning staff are polite and friendly, always doing their best to keep the living spaces clean. Each room is equipped with a wardrobe and clothesline, which is very convenient for drying personal laundry. Overall, my experience at HANA ACADEMY has been truly enriching. The supportive environment, qualified teachers, and thoughtful facilities have made it an ideal place to focus on improving English skills while enjoying a unique cultural experience.
